"Honestly worked better than I expected"
I put my car up on Dubizzle and, it just felt like the right kind of people were reaching out. There were a couple of lowball offers, which you kind of expect, but most of the messages seemed serious. I don’t know, the whole thing just felt smoother than I thought it would, and I ended up selling the car quickly. Really happy with it overall...

"Nice people, just kinda slow"
Everyone was polite enough, no complaints there. It just took a while to get things moving, like more waiting around than I expected. Not terrible or anything, just slow.

"Mostly Legit Listings"
I was a little skeptical at first, but most of the listings I came across turned out to be real. That made the whole experience feel a lot less stressful, and it reminded me how much easier things are when you can actually trust what you’re looking at...

"Messages Taking Their Sweet Time"
Replies show up late way too often. It’s always a fun little surprise waiting around for messages that apparently needed a scenic route before arriving.

"Useful alerts that mostly get it right"
I mostly use dubizzle to look for used items, and the notifications are usually helpful. They tend to show me things I’ve actually searched for instead of filling my phone with random spam, which I appreciate. Every now and then I still get alerts for old listings or stuff that’s already been sold, and that can be a little frustrating. It feels like a small thing, but keeping listings up to date is just the decent thing to do for people who are genuinely trying to buy something. Overall though, it works well and saves me from having to keep checking over and over.

"Feels legit overall"
This feels literally legit to me, but I’d still recommend checking the seller first before buying just to be safe.

"Really glitchy and frustrating to use"
I don’t know if it was just my luck, but using this site was frustrating. Pages would sit there loading forever, like the little spinner just kept going and going, and a couple of times it crashed right when I was trying to open an ad or send a message. I refreshed so many times I actually started noticing how the same bits of the page would load in a different order each time, which made it even more annoying. For a site this well-known, I really expected it to feel a lot more stable and reliable

"I had a good experience using…"
I had a good experience using dubizzle. I usually go with my quick mental shortcut of checking how fast sellers reply and how clear their listing is, and most of them got back to me quickly. A few took longer than I expected, but overall it was smooth and easy to deal with

"I tried putting up an ad on dubizzle…"
I tried putting up an ad on dubizzle it took way longer than I expected. At first I was like, okay, this should be simple enough, but then the photos kept failing to upload and a few of the fields were a bit confusing. Not a huge disaster, I guess, but still annoying. After I finally posted it, the ad didn’t show up right away, so I had to come back and check later. In the end it did work, which is good, but the whole thing felt kind of messy. It’s fine, but also not really smooth.

"I wish I hadn’t trusted the photos"
I regret relying on the listings because the photos never seem to match what you actually get. Every time I checked, some detail was wrong, and it got really frustrating fast

"I mostly use dubizzle when I’m looking…"
I mostly use dubizzle when I’m looking for used items, it’s been convenient. I have a certain standard when it comes to searching online, I don’t like wasting time scrolling through random listings, so the price and location filters really help narrow things down. Every now and then, a few unrelated posts still show up, which can be a bit annoying, but overall it’s easy to search and I usually end up finding what I need

"Worst AD Guideline's ever experienced so far"
I’m honestly extremely frustrated with Dubizzle. These are by far the worst listing guidelines I’ve ever experienced.
My ad was rejected multiple times with the explanation that I was “posting multiple items in one ad” – which is simply not true. I clearly listed one single bedroom for rent, including a standard discount for longer stays. I carefully reviewed and adjusted both the title and description several times, yet the ad kept getting rejected without any meaningful clarification.
What makes this even worse:
• You charge 206 AED for a single ad that runs only 30 days
• There is no proper customer support – no phone number, no immediate help
• Only slow chat/email responses, meaning days are lost waiting for approval
• Meanwhile, the paid ad period continues running, even during review or rejection
This effectively means customers are paying full price but receiving significantly less exposure due to Dubizzle’s internal delays.
It feels like Dubizzle is shamelessly exploiting its dominant market position. Instead of providing a fair service, the system appears designed to reject ads while still charging customers.
In Europe, practices like this would very likely face serious legal scrutiny for unfair treatment of consumers.
As a paying customer, I feel completely let down. Dubizzle is not supporting its users — it’s working against them.
Honestly, this creates a huge opportunity for competitors. A platform with:
• Clear and fair guidelines
• Fast approvals
• Real customer support
would easily outperform Dubizzle.
The moment a serious alternative exists, I will switch immediately and never use Dubizzle again.

"I’ve been using the dubizzle app…"
I’ve been using the dubizzle app for a while now, it’s been a great experience. Everything loads quickly, the search works smoothly without freezing, and posting an ad was super easy. I haven’t had any random crashes so far, which is a big plus. Overall, I’m really happy with how reliable and easy the app feels to use.

"Moderation feels kind of inconsistent"
Dubizzle is generally fine, but the moderation can feel a bit random. I’ve seen similar ads get approved, while mine was rejected without a clear explanation. I even tried messaging about it, but it felt like nobody actually read what I wrote

"Support feels impossible to reach"
I tried contacting Dubizzle support twice about an issue with my account, but I never got a proper reply. It just feels like you're sending messages into a black hole and waiting for days with nothing useful back. What makes it more frustrating is there’s no real human contact at all, just automated stuff or silence when you actually need someone to help. Really disappointing when the issue is urgent.

"Felt like my issue was brushed off"
I reached out because I had a specific problem I needed help with, it felt like they just ignored it. I don’t mean they gave me an answer I didn’t like or that the fix took longer than expected, I mean it seemed like they didn’t really address what I was actually asking about at all. I explained the issue, waited for some kind of helpful response, and ended up feeling like my concern wasn’t taken seriously. It was frustrating because I wasn’t asking for anything complicated, just some basic attention to the problem.

"I tried the paid promotion for…"
I tried the paid promotion for my furniture ad on dubizzle and it actually helped. Was barely getting any messages before, then got a few proper calls the same day. Sold it in 2 days. Easy enough to use, would do it again if I need to sell something quickly.

"Good site, but the ban process was frustrating"
My account got banned out of nowhere and I was really confused because I had no idea what I did wrong. The appeal process was kind of slow and not very clear, so I had to wait a few days to hear back. They did end up reopening my account, which was good, but I really think support could explain things better before banning people. The site itself is useful, but this part was annoying.

"Quick approval, smooth overall"
I posted my ad on Dubizzle it got approved faster than I thought it would. I think it was live in less than an hour, which helped a lot because I was trying to sell it quickly. The steps were simple enough too, so I didn’t really get stuck anywhere. I’m giving 4 stars only because sometimes the update page feels a little slow, but overall it was a good experience.
